Smoking

Use of tobacco products can temporarily increase the level of blood pressure and if you refrain from smoking for 30 minutes before the blood pressure check up then you can get the right and accurate measurement.

Temperature

The level of blood pressure tends to increase during cold and if the doctor’s room temperature is cold for you then it can affect the result of your blood pressure checkup.

Full bladder

When your stomach is empty then your blood pressure level will be lower and if your bladder is full then it can increase the blood pressure level.
